do BLACK curtains!! thick solid black!! and i love the idea of silver !! big pillows!!

i love colour ( our kitchen / family room is apple green, living room is fushia( with while and black furnature, my room is BLACK ( yes all the walls are black I LOVE IT, and no it doesnt make it feel small ), another room is red, one is eggplant purple and one is a dark blue!!

so i def think BOLD is good!!

i love bold colours..people are always surprised when they come into my home and my livingroom is this deep rich hunter green

i don't even notice the walls in your living room, or for that matter anywhere in your house (bathroom i believe is white tho)

Yes, absolutely a shag rug! White (too easy to soil, perhaps), or the same purple. I love the idea of wall decals...there are so many to choose from and when you open your door, you'll see the purple wall and the decal...perhaps a silver one?

That green and black wall hanging would be 'okay' but sharp corners like that...not good feng shui...and the black is too stark on a white wall...instead of white, might you consider a very soft blue-grey?

It wouldn't be such a sharp contrast to your purple, and would be a little more sophisticated. And omg, it would blend SO beautifully with any silver accents you would have in the room!

Then over your windows you could go with a nice light silvery-grey sheer...OMG...if you know anyone who can sew a rectangle, lol, head to Fabricland and look for a grey organza sheer! They just shimmer!!!!
