morning Qsters,
another beautiful day is ahead. thanx for the wws & reps. congrats to those who took this week off. you picked a beauty. mcskier, sorry, but absolutely NO, i do NOT miss the white stuff. i LOVE the sunny, hot , humid weather. congrats on your 1 week vacation, harley chick. i'd pick hawaii too, for a few reasons. 1, it's a beautiful place to see, from the shows i've seen & documentaries. 2, i'd love to see to volcanos. i've always found them fascinating & to see them up close or be able to climb one would be awesome, 3, the beaches are suppose to be beautiful as well. i don't surf, but suntanning & swimming in the pacific, maybe some snorking, that would be well worth it. i could see vegas or kansas city a lot easier than seeing hawaii, but that's only my opinion. nice pace car wolfie & you got to ride in it, cool. it's almost that time of the month for you & i can hear you tuning up at night. friday's the big one. have fun out there today & enjoy the weather.NASCAR SEASON is complete for 2021.
Kyle Larson wins his 1st Nascar Championship.

Harleychick depends what you are after if its the nightlife you like then vegas would be the choice. As for price Vegas is sheap to get to so I'd do Hawaii just for the cost factor alone and you may never get a chance like that again. Either case I believe you will have to pay for your food but in Vegas stand near a slot machine or act like your about to play and free drinks for all except for MGM they are pretty picky about handing out drinks unless they see you playing for a while. But all the rest are great in this regard. Also its fun walking down the street carrying a drink its a different experience. Vegas does get very warm as well so depending when you go if you decide to go there it will be scorching hot for the next few months. Thats why we like late Sept its hot but not a killer heat and night time its cooler but still t-shirt and short weather.

Did anyone "waste" company time on Friday playing Pac Man on Google? You're not alone!

Pac-Man Gobbles Up $120M in Workplace Productivity
By QMI Agency

Google single-handedly cost the world approximately $120 million on Friday.
After launching their tribute to Pac-Man on the game's 30th anniversary, tech firm Rescue Time - a productivity company that specializes in mapping their clients' web habits - started crunching the numbers to see how people's Internet habits changed in response to the free game.
The conclusion: The average user spent approximately 36 seconds more time on google.com on Friday, as compared to any other Friday. With more than 500 million visitors to the home page that day, it added up quickly to more than 4 million hours of lost working time.
Of course losing $120 million - spread out across the entire world - isn't a huge loss, comparatively speaking. Especially considering that the folks at Rescue Time estimate that fully 75% of people who visited Google.com on Friday didn't even realize they could play the game.
"Leisure surfing is critical to productivity," wrote Rescue Time's Tony Wright on the company's website. "There are quite a few studies to back this up. We just thought it was interesting number play."What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?
They both look good until they hit the ice.

Morning. How's it going out there in SmartCanuck Q Land?
Just had a very restful and extended coffee break - power outage at work so took my coffee outside and sat on the back deck for a bit. My pot of coffee just finished brewing before the power went out! How lucky was that? Maybe I'll buy a lottery ticket for tonight!Courage is not the absence of fear but acting in spite of it.

According to my MRI, I have two brain aneurysms. They are small and there's no bleeding so they haven't ruptured. I have an appointment to see a neurologist in mid-June. And have to wait until then to find out if they are going to do anything. I suppose if it is urgent, the office will call me in to see him sooner.
Just because something isn't right for YOU doesn't mean it's wrong.
