This brag isn't about any new purchases. It's just a fun brag about what I get to do today with my stock pile. My oldest daughter and her husband have been living with me for a year, taking over my rec room. Well, they moved out so I now get to use the 3 closets in the rec room for whatever I want! The one with the shelves is going to be my new food only pantry. I gave it a fresh coat of paint yesterday. Now I get to spend the day playing with my stash! Hauling it up from the basement won't be fun but lining it all up on the shelves in an orderly fashion will be. Joy! Yes, I'm easily amused and really need a life lol. I am really glad though to get it out of the basement. I've not been crazy about keeping food down there. It's dry but it's still a basement. And now when I'm in the kitchen and I need something it's only 1 set of stairs to run down instead of 2. And I know I'm not the only one on this site that gets excited about playing with their stock pile! Anyone else I know would think I'm nuts, but not you guys.

Im excited for you!! *Talk about needing a life???????!!!* lol
Looking forward to the day I can get a stockpile going. My 4 kids go through stuff like mad. I'm considering getting a permit to have a couple cows in the backyard to try and keep milk in this house! And God help me when they are teenagers!!!!

Congrats on moving your stockpile - I can agree with saveoneverything - with my kids my little stockpile gets dwindled down so very easily. Have fun re-organizing your closets - its very Zen!!!

Taking a break, all that lifting, carrying and bending is not fun! Almost done though. I don't have a big stockpile as I have to sell my house and move later this summer. Yeah, that's the sad part. This "new" stockpile closet is only for a couple months. I hope my new house has decent storage, I'll be buying a smaller house. I'm trying not to buy too much as it will just be more to move. I have 3 kids and when they were little and then teens our grocery bill was crazy! I used coupons but didn't know about all the ways to find them back then. If I knew then what I know now.....

That sounds super fun ... I love stockpile organizing!
... I'm earning $5-25 Amazon.ca gift cards EVERY month, are you?

P.S. ... starting to hunt for ShoppingChannel GC's with no minimum purchase ...

You've inspired me! I meant to spend this day organizing my stockpile properly between my pantry and my laundry room. Lot's of storage space, just never set out to have a stockpile when I started so it's all just sort of been stuffed in there and now it's hard to tell what's what! I think if I get started, I'll feel less bummed out and every so happy to be organized. Thanks for the inspiration. I know how I'm spending my evening!

I'm not sure about pictures. Maybe if size doesn't matter I have a teeny stock pile compared to most of the stash pics I've seen on here. I've been sharing way too much. Everyone gets a little goodie bag from me. My friends, family and even my carpenter and my ex have all gotten goodie bags. And I only pick up a couple things at a time.
