The house smells of vinegar for a bit, but its alcohol so it dissolves into the air quickly - the others have so scent issues, I use them on everything from the bathroom to kitchen and cat's litterboxes

Okay okay, I am a dumb dumb.
Bleach is on sale at Food Basics and when Peacester told me about it, I told her that its so far away from me...so she offered to buy it for me...
THEN, today, when we got off hwy 404 to woodbline, P said, if you ever want me to pick up anyth from food basics...then i was like OMG! I never notice this one here! Every weekend I go to work with him and we always take that exit to go for dinner afterwards...and I was thinking of..poor peacester.....
yeah Peacester, i know u hate me now...
And sunraven is gonna send me to timeout....
Now peacester got to carry it to DT for me and I got to carry them back home.....Last edited by kittyc; Mon, May 31st, 2010 at 12:32 AM. Reason: No sunraven, Not sharing with you, LOL

omg, you are both too sweet!
I was actually joking about the antibiotics.
Quincy doesn't hate you. He sat nicely with you when I went on that aluminum foil quest (& failed miserably). lol
I'll get a scrip & contact you. Thanks so much for the offer! You are such a sweetheart.
Thank you, I really appreciate the offer! You are a sweetie too!
I don't think I'll have too hard a time with the pills. We do "pretend" pills once a month, just for practice. I insist both of them open their mouths (dog has to put up with my nonsense too) & put a little bit of cheese about the size of a pill at the back of their throats & insist they swallow.
Yes, clearly I'm crazy, but when the animals are smarter than I am, it's called self-preservation.
With the dog, she was on a ton of pills (antibiotics, deworming, vitamins, then probiotics after the antibiotics) when I first got her from the shelter. She got very clever at stripping the yummy coating from any pill & spitting the yucky potent part out. Then she got even more clever & started keeping the yucky part under her tongue (cause I'd check) & then spitting out & hiding what was left of the pill.
Have I mentioned that I'm the one with the lowest IQ in this household?

But make ABSOLUTELY SURE to put that in a special spray bottle and label it accordingly - it should only be used on stuff that won't react w/alcohol, and to be safe, after letting it evaporate once you've cleaned whatever it is, if it may be used for food prep / consumption, I would go over it again w/just plain water.
At Peacestar's leisure...you'll never see it coming!

I have pilled so many cats now it really doesn't phase me, I find if they know you aren't messing around they just swallow.
I once had to give my old cat a banana flavoured (and coloured) liquid antibiotic, he projectile vomited it back onto my white shirt - now I only want pills for them LOL
