So I called LD here in Red Deer this morning to ask if they have been letting people use Dove stacks. I was connected with the manager there. He said we could not stack the Dove because of the "cannot be combined etc etc.). I mentioned I was on a couponing site and that almost all LD's across the West here are still stacking other items like Dove. But just not the coupons that say "cannot be combined with another coupon" etc etc.
He was very nice and told me he would call Head office. I was very pleased. He took my # and called me back almost immediately. I was super surprised at how on top of things he was for just a customer with an inquiry. I felt like he put me at the top of his list of to dos at that moment.
So he confirmed what I had hoped. We CAN stack things like Dove. I was so happy. I went in today and bought some with no problems. Stopped by the cashier to double check that the manager had indeed said something to them. She read the coupons over and said yes she would take them. I just couldn't believe it.
If you have read my posts lately I have had 2 unpleasant experiences at LD lately. So today was just amazing.
I also told the manager that if we couldn't stack then fine. But that we all, customers and cashiers alike need to know what's allowed and what's not. Just easier on everyone all around.
So as far as I know from this morning. The P&G are a no go because of the limit 1 manufacture coupon per item and the "cannot be combined with another coupon" are a no too.
But if the coupon says not to be used in conjunction with another offer or discount. We are good to go.
He asked me to post this on the forum I use. So I am passing it along.
Good luck to all. And please post your successes and if you have had problems so we can all learn from each other. This thread is currently associated with: London Drugshttp://www.swagbucks.com/refer/PinkSapphire. Click to get FREE Giftcards just for searching the web. It is so easy.

Thank you for the update. It's good to know that this guy takes his job seriously enough that he's willing to go that extra mile for a simple inquiry, something you don't see all too often.

sorry but i am a little confused on this. So If the coupon says - CAN NOT be combined with any other coupon - then you can not stack it with others. BUT _ if the coupon says CAN NOT Be used in Conjunction with any other Coupon or discount , we CAN Stack it? They sound like the same thing just different wording. Why would it be ok to use one in stacking but not the other. Makes no sense. Can someone please help clarify. Sorry but i am new to smart canucks and trying to get everything sorted out - thank you in advance.

I was in earlier this week to do some dove stacking since things have been clarified about the stacking rules. I didn't have a problem at all. The cashier knew about the change in rules and the transaction was smooth. I think we are limited in what we can stack there with all the new wording but we just have to work a bit harder at finding the coupons that don't state "cannot be combined with other coupons". Unfortuanately the pedigree dog food ones state that
I wonder if you could stack those ones at Save on, or if their policy is the same. Does anyone know or have tried? Thanks

I haven't heard if Save-On has rules on the wording. I don't think they do yet.
