    Hello all

    Been lurking for the past couple of days and have finally signed up. I started by ordering my coupons from the different websites ( save.ca, gocoupons, brandsaver etc ) and look forward to maybe one day joining a train ! I even told hubby ( as he is the one who does the grocery shopping ) to try to bring me home any tear off coupons he finds on his expeditions. Then I began my list of things we need on a regular basis ( pain pills, cleaners, paper products etc ) so I can keep an eye on sales. Am I on the right path so far and is there anything else I should do at this time?

    The question I have is regarding the wonderful job that annedougherty does in the offical hot deals/coupons thread. What does "insert", "booklet" and "mail out" mean next to certain items for where to get coupons? I think I managed to figure out the rest

    Check the Inserts/Booklets in the Newspapers you recieve. Sometimes even Stores will have Booklets on a Product. Flyers, that come in the Mail, LOL when we actually Recieve mail. Friends, Neighbours, maybe they shop different Stores, you Guys could Share. I do this with my Daughter-in-law, as she works all day, while I run around all day, so I find things in different stores she never makes it to. Check out alot of us on FaceBook as there is quite a bit there also. I am sure others will have more info for you also. Never Hurts to ask a Question. Most of all Have Fun

    Inserts are usually titled Brandsaver, Red Plum or Smart Source and come out once a month in the newspaper or local weekly free newspaper

    Inserts are found in newspapers. i.e. Brandsaver, Redplum
    Booklets: Found in-store, and usually contain quite a few coupons.
    mailouts usually refer to coupons that you ask the company for. I.E. If you email Colgate, they may send you some $1 coupons to use for their products in the mail

    Welcome. And everyone had the right info. It takes a little bit to get up a coupon stash. But after that you'll wonder how you had any less. In the coupon trading section there are people who will trade you coupons for stamps. And sometimes you can even pick which coupons you want. A good deal most times.
