You know, just because you're nice about it doesn't mean it isn't bossy.

You see what happens when Kitty doesn't make the poll? I don't remember now what I did, I thought it was public.
And just because we have one on the 15th doesn't mean we can't have another one later in the month. Especially since I now likely won't be going to BC and will need to be entertained (those of you who are in the know about my namesake know that I need constant attention, or I will die!).

I let Boomer eat kibble after dental - meds are bad on an empty tummy, just pour a little water on it to soften it a bit

But then it's not kibble! At least, according to Quincy.

I've been making the canned food he likes best into a bit of a soup & spooning it into his mouth as he lays in my lap. At first he was offended, now I think he secretly likes it, even if he still is protesting.
He did a half-hearted high 5 today, so he's not quite as loopy as he's been.
Poor baby.

Clever Quincy
we had a toothless cat at the shelter who ate nothing but kibble, those gums could probably snap your finger, that cat was crazy
Those meds are pretty strong (strong enough to penetrate the jaw bone to fight off infection in the bone) so I would imagine he wouldn't be loopy (or would be very loopy, but in Quincy's case that makes him more normal?)
If it makes him feel any better, tell him my Quincy is grounded and is in the spare room alone until he learns to be nice to his sister - he was dragging her down the hall by the scruff today, poor thing was squealing so loud

Well, he's much more sedate than his normal self (yes, hard to imagine the quiet kitty at the meets can be so crazy at home). But he did scream at the dog this morning, so I took that as a sign he's feeling better.

My friend has a cat with only 3 teeth who loves hard treats & cat milk, but never together. She has to crunch the treats, then wash it down with milk.
Try putting your Quincy in a coat & putting boots on him. He'll use up all his energy taking everything off. On second thought, he might decide to get even when the other cats laugh at him.
