Please change that annoying Shaw advertisement

The little blue guy walking across the forum is a real distraction and makes it hard to click through forum links - can it be changed to one that doesnt walk over the screen?

I saw it, the ads change though, so if you don't like it, don't worry you'll get a new one soon. I used to get the sweating banner at the top. Boo makes profit off these things and it helps him run this site.

ya and it is bugging me too...cause it's hard to see the "X" on my computer to click it off...I don't really like the ad either...

I do know he makes money, and I don't have a problem with the advertising, just ones that stop me using the forum

Most ads get paid more when you click rather than go to pages where you wont find them and every time you refreshed he walks across again rather than get a different ad

I know boo gets paid for it I am all for advertisment but as pixel says you can't click some SC tabs ect When you refresh he keeps coming back!! He is just a little big and in the way maybe if he took some shrinking pills so he is not in the way it would be fine.

I know, it's just AWFUL!!! I like Shaw, we use Shaw, but the annoying moving ad is just horrid!
Of course I do understand that Boo needs advertising to raise money for SC, because of the financial problems, but maybe they could just use a regular, static ad - or one which moves within a boundary...

I'm very sorry about the annoying ad.
I was very against that ad but to be honest they're paying me for it and I'll use this money to send out gifts etc... it won't last for long... I hope it's ok or is it really bad?

i agree with boo, SC always needs the $ and ads like that are only temporary!
