Actually, he's very good for a cat. I really can't complain. Compared to other cats I've babysat, he is the most obedient (no excessive destruction of furniture, lol).

My cats, even fosters, always seem so well behaved compared to cats I babysit, I don't know if they act up because their owners are away or they are always like that

I only ever paid the vet office when I had a diabetic cat who needed insulin, I didn't know anyone comfortable enough with testing and injecting him - other than that I always have a friend catsit and catsit theirs when they are away

You have an evil furball too? Quincy worries me when I am away - the others not so much Then I get home and he is sleeping on the bed like butter wouldn't melt doing that cute little roll that says rub my belly so I gave sink my teeth into you

Yes, I've babysat kitties. If anything, they behave better with me than with their owners (only cause I treat them like dogs & expect them to obey - yes, I know, the horror! ).

My one friend was convinced for yrs that her big male cat was abusing the little female. I blew the whistle on her shenanigans. She used to wait til the male was sleeping, pounce on him, then come running for help. Silly boy would wake up dazed, hear her scream & run after her. Poor boy always got into trouble, except when I babysat. He absolutely loved me. She, not so much.

She walks past, smacks him 5 times on the head, he gives her a gentle smack and she screams like someone is killing her and comes running in and jumps into your arms, her heart thumping - silly cat

After volunteering at a shelter so long, I know lots of people who can give meds/injections if we do go away, but none of them are on any meds, just lysine and a dental powder added to their food which anyone can manage
