Thread: Pure Protien?
-

I finally got my free pure protein bar, and luckily it was free!
Not sure if mine was a dud, because on the package (Got chocolate) It looked like there were pieces of oats, chocolate and other health things, but when I ate it, it was a solid piece of plain "chocolate" More like solidified cocoa. So gross.
Im going to call them to see.
Is this how it's supposed to be?This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Yep, sounds pretty much like the way they are supposed to be. I had gastric bypass done and eat them all the time as they are an excellent source of protein in a hurry. Definately nothing like a chocolate bar though.

That's just how they are - don't expect protein bars to taste like chocolate bars!

I can't find this anywhere. Can someone let me know where else they can find these? I've searched WM and SDM too and they have Pure Energy bar but not Pure Protein.

Keep checking wm, I fund a display of the full boxes outside health and beauty at my walmart last week-I asked if they had singles and they with the other protein bars but weren't really visible just from doing a quick scan of the shelf. Got my 2, and didn't have to ask them open the dull box. Just keep checking, good luck!

^ Thanks, I found it at WM yesterday. It's on a separate shelf from the Atkins bar stuff, they separate the "diet" bar from the "body building" bar. There are few boxes left so they must have restocked recently.

Haha! I guess I am not the only one who dislike this product. I got 4 bars on Monday, tried the chocolate one last night and that was disgusting. It got this weird metallic / chalky taste, haven't try the peanut butter one yet but honestly I don't have high hope for that.

Chocolate is always gross in these protein bars, no matter which brand (I've found anyway).
I got the peanut butter one with my coupon and it was really quite good actually, compared to some others I've tried. If I were buying a protein bar, I'd pick this one
