Free spc card

u have to be a student to get spc....i was in bendely (bags store) on the weekend ,they have spc card for sale for $10 ,the new cards will start from 1st aug 2011.good for back to school shopping.i am not a student ..but i think ...if some one kids are school going they can get it ,and than moms can use it ....i guess.
$10 is worth the saving for whole year.

They are no longer doing the loulou magazine VIP spc it says on their Facebook page apparently that it was a promotional offer only and it is now over

Guess I gotta see what my CAA card can do for me. I know that Payless accepts this.
Guess I will try my Airmiles (bonus Airmiles only these days, for me) and my Aeroplan miles.
Usually ask for a CAA card if anyone is stumped for what to buy me for Christmas.

There's also an age restriction for the BMO SPC credit card-you have to be under 24.

Just got an email from Loulou saying that they are offering a regular SPC (not a VIP one like last time.)
If anyone knows where to find a SPC VIP, please post.

I think you are right. I had one when I was doing my Master's- and I wasn't under 24 ! But I had valid student ID.

Thanks for posting. Yay, I bank @ BMO, but am not a student. I'm going to try & get one anyways. I wonder if pre-school counts. Ha. Ha. Actually, my DS is 2 & does attend a school morning program through the Burnaby School Board a few mornings a week during the school year, so I'm going to give it a try since I know somebody that works @ BMO. If I use the card, I will definitely take DS & try to get the discounts.

What are the steps to signing up with BMO? Minimum deposit? Do they verify id? I am a student but I am liable to get confused with having more than one bank account, Do they let you cancel? My rents want me to keep the bank account they signed me up for when I was 8.

BMO sent me one too & I'm not a student....so I gave it to my daughter, who's 14 to use...wierd how it came to my door in my name! I've banked with them for years so they should know my age!

I got my son to open an account last year just so he/we could have a card. He opened it with $5.00. Never used the account and he got another card in the mail for this year.
