Yes there is SDM gift card for any amount you want! I did use SDM to buy bus ticket but don't know for sure about monthly pass as I never needed it! But you can call the store (check if they carry it) and ask!

There are set denomination cards and open ones. So yes, you can get any denomination you want. I see no reason you can't buy your bus pass with a GC in order to get some points on it! I don't think there is anything you can't buy there with their GCs.
