Tonight ours is being held here in Oshawa.
I will go and light candles to remember those in my life who have been affected by cancer.
I would encourage you to take part in your own area when yours is being held.

Thank you for mentioning this Skippy. The relay for life in my city isn't until June 24 but I will be purchasing several luminaries when the time comes.

Yes thank you for mentiong this, I take part every year, I have lost my mother, my father and a sister all to cancer. This event is very near and dear to my heart!

Thanks for posting! I am on the organizing committee for my community's Relay (corporate fundraising chairperson) which takes place June 11th. I, too, encourage everyone to participate as we Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back!!

sadly there is none in my town this year....but i sponsored some people i knew they were participating in the walk in the past
