so i guess Shoppers is not accepting printed coupons anymore? I tried using that Multibionta coupon for 10 dollars and they wouldnt give it to me. Apparently they revised their coupon policy which now states that coupons printed from the internet will NOT be accepted. Saying that, what stores still accept printed coupons? walmart? zellers? anyone know?

I've heard that Walmart is accepting them again. I don't know if that's correct though. I never use printables.

this is from there coupon policy online. no change that I can see
Q: I found a coupon for a product online. Can I print it and use it in your stores?
A: Yes. Coupons printed from the internet or from email are accepted at all of our locations, provided they meet industry standards and are valid. Our stores retain the right to refuse any coupon that does not meet legal standards or appears to have been tampered with.

Hey,
They said the same thing to me last week when i used a printed coupon, she told me head office was changing the policy soon to protect themselves of too many fraudulent printed coupons. The Cashier told me it was happening soon and if i had anymore printed coupons, to use them because they werent accepting them anymore.

I used printed coupons at SDM no problem. Haven't been able to buy the Multibonita because the smaller size is never in stock. Someone that works there told me he hasn't seen the smaller size in months.

I have always been successful using printables at SDM, except for the $10 multibionta coupon. That time, the cashier and manager told me that the makers of Multibionta are apparently complaining because they are receiving way more of those coupons than they put out (but what do they expect from emailing us the coupons as a PDF??!?!). Also, the PDF doesn't have a website address at the bottom, which most printables do. I explained that it was emailed to me as a PDF, and they eventually said they'd take it if I went home, printed off the email and attached the email with the coupon (totally making up their own coupon policy on the fly).

I don't know if I want to try using the $10 multibionta coupon at shoppers now. I got a raincheck for two of the smaller size when they were on sale. eeeek here's hoping that a younger cashier is on at the time I go there lol. I know that the coupons have to be legit to them, they look for certain things on printed coupons and managers ok them. walmart and superstore the same. they will take them. so far...

I have a raincheck for four of the 30's Multibionta since they were on sale for $8.99 but they NEVER have any! I was hoping to use my $10 printable too... I have the $5 from an older SS or RP... darn!

I don't know. I don't use printables. Either all the stock of the printables item is gone, or else I just decide it's not worth the hassle of using them.
I'll gladly use them when the companies do something that prevents people abusing the system. When they create these offers, they don't have in mind to have 10-20 - 80 (yes, it happens) per household and it's unsurprising that they are now seeming to take steps to stop the financial drain these coupons cause en-masse. What is surprising is that it took them this long.
Stating that its the companies fault for creating PDFs etc is just an excuse. They are doing a good thing providing a coupon for savings purposes. Printing off a couple here and there is harmless enough but seriously, when we are talking numbers in the double digits, it's nothing less than theft. Pure and simple.
That it's there, and that we are trusted with them.. doesn't give the right to take advantage. We all know right from wrong. People complain about couponing having a bad reputation.. yep.. it's not difficult to see why.
Please note. I am not pointing fingers at anyone. I am stating what really ought to be common sense. Too much of a good thing is never great and all that happens is the repercussions down the line wreck it for everyone. Even those who avoid such behaviours.
