FREE $5 Pre-Paid Gas Card with Kellogg's Cereal

It is pretty slim picking to get the boxes in the stores now. I managed to score the last ones I needed to finish at the a store near me that has terrible turnover of stock. This was the one time I was glad they had a older stock around when I found out I could not do any more with the NPN.

If the amount owing is over $5.00, the gas card will be declined as insufficient funds. Once, I was able to use multiple gas cards in one transaction but the cashier had to key in the $5.00 amount for each card.

What I do now is to purchase individual $5.00 Wal-mart gift cards, one for each of my $5.00 gas cards. I find it's much easier to use the Wal-mart gift cards plus there is no expiry (the $5.00 gas cards expire March 31).

So they still have gas cards right? I received my first 3, but just mailed off the last two today. We always buy milk at the gas station, so I think I will use them for that, or to buy gas for the snowblower.

Yes, they should still have enough gas cards as the promo is til the end of the month. its only the forms via the "no purchase necessary" requests that they ran out of. I just got another $5 card last week and send off for my third this week. So sad, i haven't seen many boxes with the promo for the last month and a half. glad to have these three all the same!

Has anyone had problems using them in stores, other than gas stations. Let's say I go to Walmart and buy stuff or want a Walmart gc, can the cashier refuse to take it? (because it says pre-paid gas card)

I didn't had problems but I only buy an item at 5$ or items that cost 5$ in total.. I just let the cashier know that I'll pay with a pre-paid Mastercard and it's okay..

the only time i've had an issue using them is when i tried to pick up a something at a fast food place, due to the machine checking the account for "extra" so you can add a tip and since they run the card through as $5 the machine is looking to see if there is a value of $5+10% it got denied, other then that i've used 5 cards in one purchase at old navy once, i've flipped them onto a giftcard-you can buy one walmart gift card and just keep reloading each $5 on it
