    We were out yesterday at Upper Canada Village with my mom, my hubby and ds are at the cottage.

    Look what happened while we were all out of the house!













    Before anyone asks, the mama cat (we call her Lucy) showed up on our doorstep about a month, month and a half ago. I was feeding her outside, while looking for her owner. When I realized that she was pregnant and that the owners were not going to step up and claim her, I brought her inside to have the kittens. That way they are safe from predation and disease. And I'll have an easier time rehoming everyone if they are handled. I certainly didn't want an entire litter of kittens going feral in my backyard!

    So, here is Lucy and three of the 6 babies she had yesterday. Behind my washing machine. Boy was that fun getting them out at 10pm last night! LOL!

    Thanks everyone! They are all so cute and mama is very, very happy. She's so proud, as soon as anyone walks by, she's talking and showing them off. It's so cute.
