it is baking atm....a mega size lasagna. Five layers deep, just noodles, meat sauce and Mozzarella.
someone from the what's for dinner thread posted chicken tetrazzini so i made some for future meals; turned out 3 take out containers. I bought the aluminum take out containers with lids from dollarama; they were nostalgic for me - exactly the kind restaurants used. Wrote on the lid chicken tetrazzini, gave 1 container to my parents and 1 to my older sister.
today my older daughter and i tried a new double chocolate chips cookies. Got a large chipits bag 900g at RCSS for $6.97 (walmart also has it for same price).

I made raisin oatmeal cookies this morning
crispy and chewy❤️
I hummed and hawed over whether to make a small batch ( just 10 of them ) for Christmas Day....for a chuckle.

Then I found 3 medium sized G-men cutters in my back room, so it's on!
You could say that these Gingerbread men are " head over heels " for Reindeer!
tee hee....made a test run, next time I won't flour the board as much while rolling them out and I'll maybe make them a teeny bit thicker. Made enough dough for 5 only. Just decorated the 1 to see how unprofessional I can make them look and I think I Nailed it! lol

Just made up 30 of these beauties! ( Beef Empanadas ) Took me less than 1/2 hour. Filling was made yesterday and chilled overnight. Mind you the sheets ( rolls ) of Puff Pastry make easy work too. Freezing them now, then will bag them and save for Christmas gifts to the kids and my sister.
Chewy brownies. We had a friend pop by for coffee yesterday so I baked brownies. I think I'll stock up on a few boxes as they are handy when having someone drop by for coffee.
ty @crafter , you know I kept wondering why mine looked like the not so bright version of the reindeer family and then I noticed it is the placement of the eyes! Next time I will make sure to put them lower down, say more in line with his upper armpits.
Now I just made myself laugh....if anyone read that sentence and had no visual that is was a face of a cookie they might truly be scratching their heads!
Have fun baking everyone!
lol @walkonby
