    Well I got my new ktichenaid mixer on Thursday (bought with wedding $$) so I've been a busy bee in the kitchen! Since Thurs, I've made 2 big batches of classic chocolate chip cookies (one for DH's office and one for my office) and some awesome vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream frosting. My prettiest cupcakes yet!

    Well today I made mud pies and chocolate mint Nanaimo bars for next weekend when we have our big moving/ estate sale. I always like to have a little table of baked goods and it goes over well. I put them in containers and placed them in the freezer already.Will bake some more yet before the weekend gets here.

    Lucky you! Nice choice to spend some money on! What kind did you get - how many watts? (Is it a pretty one? LOL! I'd love a tangerine one.)

    I baked Cheese biscuits (using the Biscuit mix); a breakfast braided bread (with jam drizzled over it); and some hardboiled eggs for breakfast on Sunday. Nothing left but the crumbs.

    I made homemade butter tarts on Saturday afternoon! When I was reading all the flyers I kept seeing Father's Day sales and got to thinking that I missed it. Then I thought it must be on Sunday the 12th and was too lazy to trek back out to buy something from the kids and I.
    Well, they turned out delicious but he had a laugh at my expense when I told him why I baked them. ( out of guilt)
    Did I mention I made 16 and they are all gone now? ( uh...they were small ones) lol
