I got a call from my local radio station. I won a pizza party for 10 from PapaJohns. I am going to use it for ds1's birthday party next month. This means we won't have to spend money on the food, we won't have to spend a bunch of time making sandwiches and fruit/veggie/cheese trays, and we can have a bit more to the gift budget. I know it's not a "huge" win but it is a great win with perfect timing so it stll feels like a huge win.

So this was a great prize and a huge help with ds1's birthday last month (won in March but used the prize in April)... Today Dh got a call that he was the winner from our other local radio station. This time the pizza party will be for mine and ds2's birthday party (his birthday is the day before mine and we are combining our parties) in June. I am so excited because it saves a lot more money and I won't have to do prep work for my own party. Poor Dh has to do all the work by himself but at least he doesn't have to work on the food.
