just curious, do most people here enter ALL the contests they here about?
(I don't own a computer & my finances are tight right now so I'm doing a daily hour of free Internet at the public library.)
I basically prioritize what really appeals to me. I enter all the Once only contests, and keep a rotating list of favourite Daily contests.
Yes I am surprised with all the ones that ended Dec 31 that we have not seen tons of winners. I keep hoping for that winning email or phone call.Quote:

Read the rules. In *most* contest rules, they have an end date and a draw date. Also included is after the draw date a notification period. Something you may have won in December might not show up until Feb. or March or even later! ;)Quote:

me too. I went crazy in nov. slowed down a bit in Dec, but the last week of the year did a bunch also... hoping we hear soon! or may just show up in the mail...!?

Congrats to the winners....I enter the ones that appeal to me...just started this in November so am still a novice. Am trying to win a trip to take the family away...but we are going for reading week in Feb....so maybe I will be hoping for a Visa cash win..... smiling here...ah well tis worth a try.....

I enter pretty much anything that can be of use to myself or someone in my family/group of friends.
But again,, I'll enter usually everything and if I win something I can't use I'll give it to someone. I never give anything to the Salvation army though I am very tempted.. The hike up the price which is ludacris! ugh... oh well [dude I remember 15 years ago when my family wasn't really able to make ends meet and we had to shop there.. things cost next to nothing.. nowadays they act like the store is in a shopping center... they want $700 for a used twin bed that had a huge blue stain on it]

another curious question...................how often do people enter a contest that
says "unlimited" entries? I'm curious how often the company expects people to enter,
and if there is disadvantages of entering these contests 'too little' or 'too much'.
I enter the unlimited contests as dailys..once a day:)
I'm not dedicated to the dailies (unless it's TripCentral TripTrivia)...the way I look at it is, only one of your entries will win, so I usually do 'em every other day or when I remember
I don't do the unlimited ones because I figure someone has more time then me is overloading them with ballots. I don't even enter them once. I like the dailies that have lots of prizes not just one grand prize.
My 4 year old made me laugh the other day. He's won colouring contests to see the backyardigans and the doodlebops. The other day we were in the car listening to the wiggles and he said he thought he would like to colour a picture and go see the wiggles sometime.
