Hi everyone. I am still stuck in my dry spell...Been a few months now and not one win but I would like to say congratulations to our recent winners and good luck to everyone here in future contests!

Try entering a different type of contest...maybe some of the many blog giveaways...they have short expiry dates and you find out really quick if you won...and the prizes come super fast.

Enter some local contests...cause there are less entrants...

Aliciax when we won the prize from OLG and Vtech they both came in as private name private number or unknown name unknown number. I would think if you have an answering machine they would leave a call back number.

Oh okay thanks! A few unknown numbers have actually called in the past 2 days. One today, and we didn't answer either.. yikes

Even if it was a contest win, or a big one.. let's hope I don't know about it because I don't want to regret it.

I won a contest at work for registering the most acts of green on the CBC one million acts of green website. My company was competing to be the "greenest" company so they offered three $100 gift cards to mountain equipment co-op for three employees who contributed the most.

And I won one! I've always wanted to go to the mountain equipment co-op downtown, now I have an excuse!

I sort of won something and maybe something even better if I am lucky.

Ottawa Festivals has a contest for area code 613 residents and out of all the entries 150 get invited to the kick off the festival season this Wednesday. There is entertainment, lunch, door prizes etc.. It is a do by invitation only and one person out of the 150 who HAVE TO ATTEND to win, will win a "FULL ACCESS" pass to all Ottawa area festivals for the season. It is worth $5,000.

Won nothing.

One thing that disgusted me, they had ballons with tags on them that you cashed in for prizes and many ignorant, inconsiderate, selfish A-holes were grabbing them by the handfuls, taking 4,5,6 prizes while many of us were left to have nothing.

The greed of people just never ceases to amaze me.

I think I have a contest win but I never am there to pick up the phone. 3 days straight, an unavailable number keeps on calling, one time each day. Maybe it's not a contest win but I'm so eager to know.. *sigh* would be great if they emailed me
