I entered my neighbour/friend into a contest at our local No Frills. I nominated her through their Facebook contest, but I didn’t tell her. She is a single mom of 4. She won a $100gc to NF. She is one of 5 winners of $100, for people/families in need. I got butterflies when I read the message. I will tell her tomorrow and I know that it will be well received.
Well it started when I was 16 and won a trip for 2 to Ottawa with my Mom (I was too young to go with a friend so took Mom haha) I was the 1,000,000th person to go through the Discovery Train (does anyone remember that) I won tons of t-shirts,records etc when I was a teenager through our radio station. Then I have won different things, a wheel barrel filled with booze, an iPod, clothes, movie tickets etc The biggest thing we have won is 20,000 on 649.

I just won lunch for 2 off the nooner menu at Mr. Mikes in town! Our location does a lot of Facebook contests and this is the first time that I was one of the winners.
I went to the women’s event/convention last night and most of today. There were lots of door prizes. I won the second last doorbprize, which is free admission to next year’s event which has an approximate value of $80. My admission was paid by someone else this year.

I am a big time and longtime hockey fan.....a friend and I were planning on going to the last Canucks home game of the year, we didn't buy our tickets yet and it was announced yesterday that the Sedins will be retiring....needless to say, the ticket prices have gone through the roof....lower bowl tickets on Craigslist going for as much as $2500.
So, we were disappointed as it seemed there was no way we would be able to go.
This morning I received an email advising I had won a Budweiser contest.....
4 x Lower bowl tickets to the game and
Reservations and $200 G/C at the Sportsbar at the arena before the game.
I am still in shock....
On the weekend the Canucks and Sportsnet were at the local automall and they had some contests so we went down and I won a Canucks t-shirt and Sportsnet ball cap.
Today was advised I won a FPC for Dainty Rice.
I woke up to 2 Facebook wins this morning. I won a 25$ gift card to a local produce store and a 10$ gift certificate for Gold Seal products.
A $25.00 GC to McDonalds and movie passes.
I won a Scotch Brite roller prize pack from their FB site.
