I know it has been very odd with Goodreads, this has not happened other summers. I thought once fall came, they would reboot, but no.

A while back, Amazon bought it and this year changes have been in the works. Authors now have to pay to have their books in giveaways, and it is now US only.
They just let the ones on the site finish up, before the new program came into force.
So, fewer authors will do this, and we cannot enter any longer.

Last year I attended a women’s conference in town. A friend paid for my ticket. At the event I won free admission for 2019. The conference was last weekend. I won one of the door prizes.
Yesterday I won a $25 gift card to Mr. Mikes steakhouse. I won it through a local Facebook contest. Our local location is very generous and has a lot of conferences.
