I know how you feel. When I first stated contesting I was bedridden with sciatica for about 3 months and I was bored so I entered ever contest I could find and did not win a thing for months. I was ready to give up but then slowly the little wins started and then you are hooked. Keep trying and enter as many as you can that you are interested in and before long we will see a post here from you with your first win. Good luck contesting.

i won a pair of 18k pearl earrings from the bridal conference sweepstakes just trying to find out what they are worth because the problem i have is they said it was for 1 of 30 pairs of 18k gold pear earrings but on the stamp on the back says 18k gp i am asuming that means gold plated now wouldn't that be fasle prizing they should be gold not plated.

Hi everyone. Thanks for all your votes during my competition. As many of you know I am voting you through facebook on a daily basis so you may not see me open and vote each thread from here.
So here is what happened. Many of you are aware that the contest became a pissing match with the other team complaining about my voting ethics with using forums and other places to get votes. The fact remains that I was "networking". I didn't use any false emails and I didn't buy any voting lists to inflate my votes with fake emails. So I did win the competition. Got the call yesterday and sent them the Prize release. Today I got the call and I asked them to give half of my prize away to the swim team (Cascades Swim Club based out of Calgary). So the result is My Son's team is named the Grand Prize Winner and shortly his picture will be posted. Secondly we get $2500 worth of Powerbar products.
Thirdly it seems that the Cascades won a weekly prize (albeit in my opinion cause they were getting spanked and powerbar felt sorry for them..so they got $355 worth of Powerbar Products. Fourthly and Finally, I gave the Cascades team half of my prize so they too get $2500 worth of Powerbar Products because of my generosity and with all your help. So everyone in my opinion has won in this outcome

wow trucker, that's a little unfair for you, asking you to give up half your prize (which is a LOT of powerbar products!!). it's not like you cheated or anything, i agree it was just good networking!
