Need your help. Plus size wedding dress near Montreal.

I need to find stores that carry plus size wedding samples/dresses in there stores. Many can order dresses for you if you buy them, but they don’t have plus size samples to try one.

Anyone that could help me out, I would be so grateful.

I know its nothing to do with coupons, sorry to spam the wall, but I really need help.

Have you try on St-Hubert?? They have a lot of stores.

Hey Nat!

I bought my wedding dress a few weeks ago. I went to St Hubert Street and found that most boutiques had dresses that were in sizes 20+. They had a much smaller selection than the sample sizes, but still enough to find something!!

Congratulations and good luck planning! If you need any help/suggestions, PM me. I'm more or less finished planning for my January wedding! Did tons of shopping around! Don't be afraid to negotiate on EVERYTHING!!!

have you tried calling a seamstress? I've made wedding dresses for plus sizes in the past. They often are cheaper then buying off the rack and having all the alterations done for you afterwards. Maybe you can find one in your area. I'm in Longueuil so I doubt I can help you.

You should look for a seamstress that specialises in dress making and plus size dresses. You can look on kijiji or lespac or maybe the yellow pages..

i ended up buying my dress in ontario (i was living there) I needed to order off the rack (had no time to look around much), but had i needed to do it over again, I would probably go check out some stores in the states. Probably much cheaper and more selections. I found nothing on st hubert and nothing in montreal/laval.

Have you checked out Justina McCaffrey in Ottawa? I think they carry some plus sizes. It also might be worth a trip to NYC to check out Kleinfield's! If you're into ordering from the states (not as convenient, I know!), Nordstrom has some great prices/selections. There's also a Nordstrom not too far away in New Hampshire that may be worth looking into. I hope this helps!
