    Morning gang-I am off to one of my favorite auctions today www.bryansauctionsale.com They sell overstock and liquidation new building supplies mostly brought in from the USA. I know it isnt very Canadian of me but the prices can be phenomenal. Last auction we got beautiful travetine tiles for 2 bucks per square foot, an amazing 9 light chandelier for 95 bucks and 12"x12" sheets of 1" glass block tile for 2 bucks each sheet. We actually had to go to Rona a little later that same day and the same tiles, same manufacturer were 16.98 per sheet.They also had heavy iron style patio sets of glass tables a nd 6 chairs that went for 120 bucks for the set(I guess everyone wants the fake wicker now) They have brand new kitchens in 2 or 3 cabinet heights that are amazing for a cottage or a quick update-check out the website. Bryans is in Puslinch off the 401 below Aberfolye, just past Milton but before Cambridge. I'll be the crazy lady bidding on everything! Enjoy the weekend everyone...

    This weird chattering sound woke me up. Turns out the cat was swearing at some pigeons outside. When there's a pane of glass to protect him, he's brave, but when he comes face to face with one, he hides behind me.

    what an awesome start to the day......this is the first time in weeks that it is comfortable sitting on the back deck...major smile here...gathering of the clans this aft family here from scotland.... then to the firework festival...anyone have suggestions for where to watch the event aside from right at Ontariio place....scottish frugalities...not wanting to pay the entrance fee, as we will all be getting there just in time for the fire works.....note the ramblings before I have had a tea........
