Driving through a nearby neighbourhood on my way to the highway, I noticed a blue box at the end of a driveway that was full of canning jars. Had to turn around and go back. Piled 11 jars onto the floor of my car and continued on my way to work. All different size jars for fruit, jam, etc. Looks like someone cleaned out their garage!

canning jars - an excellent score! I'll bet they were filled with gifts and this person didn't know the rule: If I gift you my canned goods you MUST return the jars & rings!!! I stalk my friends who don't return my beloved antipasto jars!! LOL

Oh wow! I can't believe someone recycled those. Freecycle them at the very least. Good score for you.

Great find

At least these people could donate those jars for a food bank or organism who make food for the less fortunate...
