My stash lived in my trunk, then I gave 2 boxes full away, restocked, and then finally brought it inside yesterday, so I can go to the States, and not get hassled about my "purchases"

I also pass on things I know we wont use. Or a really good deal I know someone else can use. I dont think hoarders do that.

A basement all to yourself would be a dream. Enjoy that new house.
My stash is getting large now too. My husband rolls his eyes but appreciates it when he needs something. So far my savings in coupons is over $1000 for the past 6 months. I'm impressed with that.

Stockpiling and hoarding are TOTALLY different! Stockpiling stuff your family will use is great and saves you money in the long run, hoarding would be more like if I started "buying" Cascade action pacs just because I can get them for free when I don't even have a dishwasher!!
My husband loves my couponing, tells his friends all about how much we are saving and how cool it is, which is great! Even cleared out one of "his" closets so I could store extra stuff
Where I get into trouble is when we run out of something, he says "All these coupons and you don't have an extra (fill in the blank)?!" I'm fairly new to this whole thing so by the sounds of it I'll run into this less and less in the future LOL

too funny!
hahaha. I guess I must be a hoarder too. I can't stand people touching my stash.
(oh...that sounds kinda dirty.
)
But seriously, lol, I notice when stuff is missing. The other day, DH had a friend down to visit for a few days, so while I was away shopping that afternoon, he was preparing guest room for the company to stay at hotel-our-house (lol) and he touched the sacred stash and took stuff out for the company.
So I come home from shopping to put away the goodies I just bought and i'm like, "whoa nellie! one, two, three, four, five........twenty six, twenty seven.
There's ony 27 bottles of shampoo here. Where'd those other 2 go????"
LOL. I take alot of pride out of always having lots of stuff on hand for unexpected guests or guests who forgot to pack something.
Just don't touch my stash!!! (Only I'm allowed to.)
Ok... I think I need therapy for this.
But I don't keep old pizza boxes or rotten food in my fridge...so perhaps there's hope for me yet???"Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle

DH's.... such complainers until they see what you've actually saved when you get a sale AND a coupon!

What about if I admit I was tempted on the Cascade? LOL Don't worry I traded them for some baby food coupons instead!
And I think my husband needs to start classes on being supportive of couponing, once he saw the savings start adding up he became quite the ambassador! It's funny to watch him telling his single guys friends about it, they don't see the point at all

I don't own a dishwasher either! I just bought Cascades & Dawn (FREE, plus tax) simply because the it was a combo coupon offer, and I had promised my sister some free dish soap. No worries though, I won't hoard it; it'll be gifted out the door to friends & family or to a shelter (to offset their operating costs.)

That's actually one of my favorite things about couponing, being able to give more, I just did Greenworks cleaning baskets for some new mom's in my family... so much fun! Totally NOT hoarding if you give stuff away

so tonight I went and when I first walked in they had a big display of the sprays and jar candles so I grabbed my $15 worth (15) and proceeded shopping. Then I found the ultra's on for $1 too. yay so I did some rearranging and got 3 ultra, 4 sprays and 8 jar candles = $15-10 coupon = $5 for 15 items or .33 cents a piece
I told you should see pics of others people's piles. I also told him he should be happy I have a stockpile because then I dont have to pay regular price when I run out anymore. Just wait till Oct when I move to my new house
.. you have enough to spray your entire block
