I took back my other charger last night and went to another SDM today. I didn't buy one though - from what i could see, it takes eight hours to charge them? The charger I already have only takes an hour!

Zonny, did you know that actually if you have a battery charger that charges for 8 hours or longer, is better (easier) on your rechargeable batteries than the quick one hour ones. I learned that a few years ago.
1. Someone from one of the electronic places told me this.
2. Personal experience - if your battery on a quick charger starts heating up too fast (almost too hot to touch) and which in the worst case scenario can actually pop or explode, then you're on the long run shortening the battery. You won't notice it initially but on the long run, it shortens it's life span.
3. Oh yes and I've reviewed/researched on the internet and it's confirmed as per what I was told in #1.
4. Longer charging chargers may seem like a pain in the neck, but if you leave them overnight and even into the next day, shouldn't be a problem. But a lot of times, everyone wants instant gratification.
5. The other thing it is advised to always charge up 2 or 4 batteries and never just one. Not sure why but I've read that both on charger directions (including mine) and also on the internet.
