A broken foot leads to DH's first coupon experience

So, I broke my foot yesterday after slipping on DS's toy trying to prevent him from falling and will be in a cast for the next month...Irony at its best.

Since I was not able to go shopping, I had to get my DH to do it, coupons and all. I had to trim off a few things since it would confuse him too much so I stuck to necessities.

He had his first PM, coupon and overage experience at WM and he did GREAT! I am so proud of him, even though he says it made him feel cheap. LOL...I think he secretly loved it!

Wtg. I understand how u feel. I just had my ankle fused and I am in a cast. Not aloud to put weight on my leg for 6weeks. So that means I have to train my parents, my cousin and hopefully my dh to use coupons. Hope am as successful as u. Btw. Hope u get better soon.

Sorry to hear you bad news not fun having a cast on in the summer, but l am sure now that DH has one shopping trip under his belt he will start enjoying it and maybe he will help you more once you cast is off.

My DH usually just laughs at me about my couponing...but yesterday I needed him to PM some Finish at LD and as an incentive I gave him 2 coupons to stack for KY!! lol I think he's hooked now!!
