new zehrs receipts

i just noticed today on my receipt from zehrs that they have a whole new way of printing them out.

at the bottom it tells you how many coupons you used, how much you saved in coupons and the % of saving.. ei mine was 58% in saving with using coupons...

i love it! no more calculating on my fingers at the end of the trip!

I noticed Loblaws has been doing this for awhile too!

I just noticed this today with my Fortino's receipt, also part of Loblaw's. I saved 70% lol.

I guess they did it bcoz they have a coupon zone ( In store coupons on a cpn board usually at the entrance to the store ).. so they want to show how much you are saving with their In store coupons

But the system probably can't distinguish between MFR cpns & In Store cpns when calculating the savings so all of them are bunched together & calculated to show the % OFF
