This is my first brag!
In the past, I've had lots of success with SDM and earning points, but with this Wednesday's 20x points event (via emailed coupon), I decided to try combining coupons with the flyers and see what I could come up with.
I've included a picture of most of what I bought--minus 2 Sobe bottles and a Smarties package
.
Breakdown:
Coupon Savings: 18.24
Total savings (including coupons and sales): 55.72
Total spent: 77.96
Regular SDM Points: 800
Product Bonus Points: 4950
Coupon Bonus Points: 800
Total points earned Wednesday: 800 x 20 = 16000 + 4950 + 800 = 21 750!
I was quite happy! I also went with my mom and she saved a ton using coupons as well

You will only get the 20x on the regular points I believe so 800 x 20 = 16,000

Oh shoot!
I'm still pretty happy about the combining of coupons though!

Don't feel bad, I assumed the same thing when I first started with SDM bonus points
