By ACCIDENT! Honest!

I was dialing an "888" number, but I must have mistakenly dialed "800" instead, and omg!! This gal's voice came on (no introduction, nothing) and said something about wearing a swim-suit, then taking her top off, then...
I only listened for a few seconds, thinking, 'okay...swim-suit...might be advertising something regarding this company..."

I hung up and was just shaking!!! What if I get billed a gazillion dollars for that call?!

I phoned our provider and told the young lady on the line what happened, and I could hear her stiffling a giggle, and I started to laugh too, and said, "Believe me...I'm an old lady, and would never do something like that!" Evidently she believed me, thank heavens, and said to wait until we see if a charge appears, then call back to cancel it, and she has a record of my call to them.

Anyway, I told my hubby, who looked at me like I was dissolving in front of his eyes when I said,
"Hon...I tried out one of those sex phone lines today."
When I explained what happened he wasn't a bit surprised, and said that it's exactly what those companies do: just change an *800* line to *888* or the reverse, and snag people who make those mistakes. Apparently there are more than a few of us dummies out there.

Man. Who knew what was out there??!! I didn't even see a o movie until I was well into my 30s!! And even then, only about 5 minutes. So silly. Those people need acting lessons.
