Found a great Vichy starter kit. Items retail for $30, but they were being sold as a promotional kit for $15.00. Not bad for Vichy...but it gets better. PP/Rexall now accepts the SPC card (-10% on regular priced items only). Since the item was not on sale I was able to apply the SPC discount and use the $5.00 coupon! Paid $10.25 for $30.00 of Vichy products!
The poor sales associate had no idea how to key in the transaction. Manager came over and went over the process:
1. The clerk must first scan a pass card they use for the specific discount.
2. The SPC is then scanned. Your card number appears on the receipt with the caption:
"Sold to : SPC" along with "0.00"
The item appears on your receipt (less the SPC discount). Discount is before taxes.
3. Any coupons are then subtracted.

Wow! Didn't know Pharma Plus used the SPC card. Thanks for the tip. Nice find on the Vichy!
