PMing a misprint in a flyer...Wrong or not?

Me too!! They were honouring the price at my SDM and I still didn't pick them up.

IMO, it is wrong to make another store pay for the mistake of another when you know it is the wrong price

Asking SDM to honour it claiming false advertising is another matter LOL

Their policy actually does state they don't price match mistakes.
We do not honor:

• Ads when the actual price for items cannot be determined.
• Internet pricing
• Misprinted ad prices of other retailers
• "Going out of business" sales or "close out" prices

Which makes me even more frustrated when people pull this crap. But there are those that will continue to do so if they get away with it, no matter right or wrong, Although Walmart needs to pull it's side of the agreement and enforce it too.

yes, this is a clear part of the policy.

WM near me didnt have any this size on the shelves so either they dont sell it or that mysterious hole in the display was them saving themselves the problem of explaining it.

My SDM let me get one of each kind when I showed them the flyer, they did not have a correction notice up, but the other local one did

That certainly puts a different spin on things.. I should really look up their price match policy.. so far I've just shown up with flyers and gotten stuff matched.. I've never seen their policy..

I don't get frustrated by the actions of others, sometimes I get confused and I try to understand.. but mostly I mind my own biz.. I find if we are going to affect people at all we do it by our actions not our words.

I have spotted two responses in threads since yesterday where the original poster was making others aware that the Daisy Razors in the SDM flyer at 1.99 were a misprint(They are actually supposed to be 11.99) and and someone suggested PMing the mistake at another store.

Wrong or not?

I, personally, think it's wrong. It's one thing if you didn't know the original price was a misprint but, in my opinion, it's stealing if you knew it was a misprint and then took your flyer to WM and pm'd it anyway.

I think it is wrong. My integrity is not for sale at any price. Those without integrity, well I guess that is their problem to deal with. And I feel sorry for them.

I personally wouldn't do it if I knew it was a mistake. Others that choose to tho, that's their decision, and not for me to judge.

I made a comment on here and got deleted? Ok I wil try again. What SDM did was wrong wrong wrong. The flyer brought many people into the store because of the mistake and they should pay for the mistake by honouring the ad. Second I think PM is fine! Yes I said it again fine! Go for it! Wal-Mart for example screws all of its employees with poor wages and by not letting them unionize. These are billion dollar companies people. Do you think that most billion dollar companies are angels? Take a look at Monsanto or PG&E or many others.

Ok now on the flip side do you think it is ok to take inserts from the recycling dumpster? When the items are placed in the dumpster they become the property of the recycling company. Some people here are stealing by taking from them. Do you think it is ok to use several addresses to get extra coupons or free samples? Many people on here do that to, which I believe is stealing also. Next time you see a big brag photo ask yourself this question. Where did this person get so many coupons?

The line between right and wrong is not a simple straight line.

I would never... I really would just feel terrible knowing I did something dishonest intentionally.

I get a huge thrill looking at the items in my stockpile that I got legitimately for free by being attentive and using coupons on good sales... I would way rather get things for free by being smart than sneaky.
