Again this is due to Safeway is at the end of the road I shop there, the old coupon way without/with a saving is a saving. I have been doing this since I was 17 so really old school senior canuck lol and at 17 was a new mother.
I am a firm believer to use stores close to you (helps the community) get to know the cashiers and they don’t scrutinize your coupons as much from a trust relationship knowing your both aware of policy.
Don’t get me wrong I love coupons but deals are there with or without them and knowing your prices as well as not all of us hold a stockpile in 700 sq ft basements or shelves. Not that I am complaining about stockpilers simply sharing my realistic way that I have made sure to save and earn the house a great stockpile that suits the house and the needs of two parents and a child (now 24 student in Pharmacy who moved home). Shawn and I are celbrating our 25 year Aug 1 yay and still coupon even though we do not need to it really is a lifestyle. Ok sharing is over lol
Hope this helps others see pantry shopping on a regular shop and basic shopping for three adults who do not use a ton of items and see no need to store shelves but simply know that 6 of each works for us!
Thanks again Opera Bob for your hard work I lurk this post every week to see what help I can get from you so know that its very important to us! Kudos

Definately right. Mine are way different. Going to try to remember them, since I don't have them in front of me, buuuuuut:
50% off Delicio pizza
60 AM WUB Tide 4-60 use
40 AM WUB 2 Purex bathroom tissue
10 AM WUB 6 pack pepsi 710 ml
60 AM WUB 2 GMS chicken wings
I know there were a few more (including one for Bounty and Mini-Wheats, but can't remember the deal). If they are indeed looking at your history, that would explain why I found myself thinking that this was a pretty good coupon pack, lots of stuff I would actually use. Of course, if they're going to tailor coupons specifically for me, I'm all for that because if I've bought it in the past, chances are good I'll need it again

rut,
I'm a huge believer in coupons. Due to a motorcycle crash I had a 15 year period where, while I had savings I had very little cash flow.
What most people fail to realize is that a $1 coupon is really worth $2. Why?
Because, if you didn't have the $1 coupon you'd have to pay cash and you'd have to earn $2 before taxes/fees to have $1 in cash.
Use $500 in coupons in the year and you've really saved $1,000.

OB, I hear you there, no rush to run out and use those coupons the manufacturer expect most will and I like to hold on to them alot have Oct, Nov and Dec so why rush the deal will be back if you miss one who cares ... unless its really needed then use the coupon for sure. Here are some of my older ones ha ha
I have the speedstick ones that came in march SS as well with the Irish Spring... pays to hold out that hand of coupons til the last and final rounds hee hee but those are old couponer tricks and tips... its never been about the 100% free for myself its about a great deal for the sake of the great deal!
Have a great Sunday!

I think the coupons are somewhat "tailored" as I never get them for stuff I don't buy usually. But I buy Mini-Wheats like crazy!!!!! Can't believe you got one. Not sure now why I didn't as I buy that ALL the time. Oh well. maybe they are trying to convince me to buy more Froot Loops. Haven't used any coupons yet but am going to look at the flyer and see. I agree to wait and use them with a sale as well. I have a month to use mine.

Just a comment and it doesn't surprise me that it's done:
During the B5G50 on Heart Check items one that was taken up very quickly was the ER no-salt added corn @ $1.79.
Occasionally a few new cans would appear but mostly this item disappeared from the shelves.
I noticed at 2 stores the day after the event the shelves were fully stocked again.
It appears Safeway intentionally limits some featured items.
Luckily I got 2 rain checks on this item.

There's not really great airmiles deals in my opinion. There are some of the meat shoppe ones where you buy two get X airmiles. A couple are those buy six get 50AM. Nothing to spectacular.
