Not a Safeway offer but indicative of why my I've seriously reduced my shopping there:

Bicks Relishes:

Safeway $2.79 on sale for $2.49

Wally World $1.77 on sale for $1.27 (minus the $0.50 coupons I loaded up at $0.77 each)

Safeway needs to notice how the reduction in the value of an AirMile plus Safeway's cut back in the number of AirMiles offered is affecting any advantage they thought they had.

My own accumulation average has dropped from 1,000/mo. to 350-400/mo and that is from reduced shopping at Safeway.

If you have coupons there are a couple of decent offers next week:

1. Kellogg's B5G75 on Jumbos @ $6.99 and Kashi @ $5 and Eggos (560g) @ $3.99 (????).

If the BOGOs on Kellogg's arrive and are good on the Jumbos then $17.48 gets $7.88 in AMs. (Note: You'd have to buy 10 with BOGOs for $34.96 to get $15.76 in AMs).

If you have the $2 Kashi Cinnamon coupons then $15 gets $7.88 in AMs.

I have to check to see if my Eggo $0.50 coupons are still good but if they are the $17.45 gets $7.88 in AMs.

Also there's a B3G30 on Chapman's (and others) Ice Cream. I buy the sugarless sandwiches (6). Regular price at Safeway is around $7.50 while Wally World sells them for $5.47. Next week though Safeway has them at $3.99/2.94 so I'll load up.
