For those of you boggled by the math simply put.

    Coke is $3.67 after AMs

    Pepsi is $2.44 after AMs
    Becomes

Coke is $0.67 after AMs and iCOKE points

    Pepsi is $2.44 after AMs

    ALERT! ALERT!

    Scratch all my reasoning above.

It's getting too hard to evaluate the loyalty programs.

I was mixing up "Scene" points with "iCOKE".

My guess is the Pepsi will still be the better deal but if you collect iCOKE points however they should be taken into possible consideration. I'm off to work and will have to look at the iCOKE rewards for a proper analysis a bit later.

The Coke is $2 at No Frills. A good deal as well.

I wonder, to get the 100 ams do you have to spend 100 before or after coupons?

Unfortunately it's after coupons. They get refunded so I don't see why but hey, it's their store.

OK, was just in Safeway and at the store I was in none of the 6 packs had iCoke lids. This is likely intentional to avoid double dipping so as it stands the Pepsi is by far your better offer. It'll be $2.20/6 pack after AirMiles on Tuesday.

Ron, was the $2 at No Frills on the 6 pack. We don't have No Frills here.

Also, I'm enjoying talking to a young fellow at Safeway's Facebook page. Seems he's buying most of the Group Buys and then offering them on Kijiji. He's already had one offer on one item that is double what it cost in AMs to buy it. Gotta luv the entrepreneurial spirit!

I have 2 club cards. I used each card to buy 50 Michelina frozen dinners for $75 to get 500AM and 5 Kellog cereals for $25 to get 100 AM. Since the total is $100, I also got 100AM bonus for the B$100G100AM, plus the regular 5AM for spending $100. So I got a total of 705AM for spending $100.

That's excellent! Are you saving up your points for anything in particular?

    Safeway has the 500AM/shop/offer/day limit.

However, some people say if you do a second shop and use a different Club Card you can get 500 + 500 on any particular offer.

I haven't tried it but a_1_a seems to have and says it works.

Note: You can get more than 500AMs at anytime it's just that you can only get 500AMs max. on any one particular offer. So if "Nivea" and "Frozen Foods" are separate offers you could get 500AMs on each.

Also, remember it's 500AMs or 10 multiples max. whichever comes first.
