Trin,
I just sent you a couple of codes through the messages system.
You need codes for both but don't waste your time on the auctions. People are vastly overbidding on the auctions for example 9,000+ AMs on the 32GB iPOD that can be had for around 3,000 AMs on the AirMiles website.
The group buys can be very good value if you believe the MRSPs shown. Many people scope out the daily item online to find out what it sells for. Many items are above $0.20/AM.
When you attempt to buy a group item enter the code in the top box. The number/letters shown to verify your order go in the bottom.
Am,
The Group Buy starts at 9:00am MT (8:00 am in BC). Sometimes it takes a few minutes to load the offer so keep refreshing your window. (Once it didn't show until 8:10).

As to value for example.
They've twice had the diamond pendant + 18KT gold necklace up. MSRP is $2,500 for which it apparently sells for at Birk's. Others found it online for close to $4,000.
The amount of AMs needed to purchase it was around $400 worth.
Now, if you believe the MRSP then that's outstanding value. Even discounted by 50% to $1,250 you get outstanding value.
I do know one person who bought it and immediately put it up for sale on Kijiji. The first offer he received was $800.
They also had a home theatre system at 2,600 AMs that not enough people opted for so it didn't go through. Safeway brought it back later saying "by popular demand" with twice as many units available at 1,650 AMs. It sold out quickly.
I've made the assumption that Safeway has already purchased these items and needed to unload them.
Two others that didn't go and might come back then are:
1) An individual coffee maker
2) an electric bicycle
The bicycle retails at Canada Tire for $699.99 (so it's low end). It required around $300 worth of AMs to buy. The knocks though were:
a) low end so possible maintenance issues, etc.
b) acid battery
I passed on it but if they drop the AMs needed, as they did on the stereo, I might buy. So far I've bought 3 items at the group buy.
To keep on top of what people are saying about the daily group buys go to Facebook and search "Safeway Canada". (Note: sometimes the main Safeway page comes up so you might have to search a second time to get Safeway Canada).

On Tuesday this drops to $4.05/1.99 (before tax & bottle deposit) as part of a $35 Total purchase.
Pepsi Soft Drinks 6 x 710ml B4G75 4.50/2.44
SDM has them on for $2.99 right now so on 4 you're $4 ahead. Zeller's is $3.99.
Another advantage to me is I found I have a couple of B2G1 Free Pepsi Max coupons. Unfortunately, they're marked one/customer so have to do separate transactions but in the end it'll be:
$4.05 x 3 = $12.15 and get 75 AMs = $8.25 (approx.) or $3.90/4 = $0.975/ 6Pack effectively.

Does this only apply to the bonus coupons (ie spend $100 get 100 airmiles)? I'm wondering because I just noticed on a recent receipt that I received 1 air mile and my total pre-tax was $19. (I spent $39 and used $20 in coupons).
