The Giovanni Pasta looks good especially if you have any Save.ca coupons.

At $0.133/AM it works out to $1.67/0.61. With coupons a good offer.

Some of the Method Cleaners at $2.99/1.52 seem to be good value as well.

I see the Vancouver Sun at the bottom on the front page of one of the interior sections has a coupon for 25 Free AirMiles at United Carpets if you drop in.

I assume other paper will have the same.

I am thinking of doing the Catelli pasta deal. Buy 5 get 40. I have buy3 get 1 free coupons. Will the free one count towards the AM's. If not I have .75 off Smart Catelli Pasta coupons as well. Thinking of buying 10 boxes but need guidance on whether the b3g1 coupon will work. Thanks

coley3 Yes the free (4th box) will count towards the air miles.

So if you use 2 coupons, you'll pay for 6 and have 2 free boxes for 8. Then you'll need to buy 2 more.

I would ask your Safeway before doing this. I purchased 2 items with a BOGO coupon and was suppose to get 20 air miles (when buying 2 of the product). I only got 10 air miles so be careful! Don't want you to be disappointed.

OK. I am going this morning to check it out. I am just going to buy the pasta as I will buy everything else we need to the % off day next Tuesday. So if I don't get the AM's I want with the B3G1 then I will return them all and buy another 2 to make it work.
My plan 8 Healthy Harvest or Bistro and 2 Smart Pasta. If the free doesn't count I'll pick up 2 of the Giovanni with .75 off coupons.

Back from my shop.

It was a bit of a gong show. 3 of my pasta didn't ring up as a sale price. She put through one of my coupons (the free one) as regular price instead of the sale price. Then I got a -.63 off for 1 Italian days. Not sure what that means as it doesn't take any price of the pasta down to $2.50. I bought all 2/$5 pastas. Anyway I sorted it all out here at home and it looks like I might have been out .60 cents. I know I could do scanning code of practice etc. But I am leaving it as it is.

So.... I actually bought 15 pastas and got 122 AM's in total. Bought some meat as well. So the B3G1Free coupons worked!!!!!!

Then I was at Wal-mart and went past the pasta aisle. Well what do I see but Catelli healthy harvest pasta on for $1.47!!! I did all the math and including the coupons I used and the AM's factored in at .11/AM. Safeway was the cheaper deal by about $1

I had hoped I was saving alot of money on this trip. Anyway we eat lots of pasta and it has a long shelf life. Plus it is great when the kids need food for the food bank at school.

I bought some earlier but couldn't find where I put my B3G1 coupons. When I get home I'll search a bit harder and see whayt I come up with. I did have a couple of WebSaver.ca $0.75 Smart CVatelli coupons which helped.

I've always got the AMs on BOGOs BTW.

I wonder if I didn't get my total air miles when I used a BOGO coupon because of how the cashier entered the coupon(?) Wish I had kept my receipt so I could go in and question it. Next time LOL!

I did not take advantage of the Pasta deal because I already have about 15 boxes in my cupboard.
But I did buy Pizza pops (kids have been asking for them for a while) and my groceries cost $103 after coupons ( I had $19 in coupons). So I received the 100AM bonus. Also I had a fabulous cashier who also scanned the 5X AM if you spend $40 coupon that was avaialble at our store so I received 178 AM after all was said done.
What a sweet cashier!
