But I did buy Pizza pops (kids have been asking for them for a while) and my groceries cost $103 after coupons ( I had $19 in coupons). So I received the 100AM bonus. Also I had a fabulous cashier who also scanned the 5X AM if you spend $40 coupon that was avaialble at our store so I received 178 AM after all was said done.
    What a sweet cashier!
Sweet cashier and a SWEET deal!!

I went today and took advantage of the Purex deal. This was not the best price I've seen for Purex but it was buy 2 get 25 AM. I had 8 of the coupons for Purex-save $3. So I bought 8 and got 100 AM. I also bought the pizza pops/ Dr. Oetker for another 100AM. This Safeway also has a deal for spend $100 get 150AM or spend $200 and get 300AM. I spent $200 and got another 300AM for a total of 520AM. I love Airmiles!!

I'm waiting for the $100 Safeway Gift card I got through the auction group buy before spending my next $100.

Have any of you started receiving items from the Group Buys yet? I have yet to be called.

Found my B3G1 Catelli Coupons. Good to Sept. 30.

That takes them to $1.875 each.

    @ $0.1143 effectively $0.96/box

    @ $0.133 effectively $0.81/box

I got my iPod from the first buy and the Thermos/$100 package. 2 items to come.

Got an email this morning.. won a Bulova watch in the daily Twitter contest! (I think this was an easy win, there weren't too many people using that option)

I'm seeing new coupons out there now including a new "Smucker's Wake Up Your Breakfast" booklet.

These were a terrific winner a few years back when they had $1 coupons in them for 8 pack Eggos.

They were regularly on as B5G50 @ $2.00 each when AMs were worth $0.14.

After coupons every $5 spent got you $7 worth of AMs. I donated a couple hundred boxes to the foodbank.

Hopefully this is a sign this offer will appear again soon. It disappeared after one of the 3 plants making Eggos burned to the ground.

Unfortunately the new coupon is only $0.75 and AMs are worth $0.1143 now.

    Just in Safeway.

Had the email.direct with the B2G40 on Dove soap.

The prices is $3.99 but there are B2G$2 coupons as well which brings them to $2.99 - $2.20 in AMs = $0.79 each effectively.

    P.1 is updated

There is nothing I'm remotely interested in buying this week except possibly:

With B2G$2 coupons it brings it to $1.99/1.26 and on Tuesday $1.79/$1.06 which is a good price on a better than average quality item.

I'd avoid the Sponge Towels offer this week. See p.1.

Thanks for updating P1, operabob! Sure hasn't been much hee-haw over Safeway's air miles lately. I may check out the Dove deal but they never put out the tear pads here. :-(

Unfortunately, none of our stores put the coupons out......Safeway, Shopper's Walmart, Giant Tiger, etc. Extra Foods put out their own coupons but not manufacturer coupons. Really sucks that they don't! I've asked on numerous occasions but am always told "oh, we don't get those". Yeah, sure, sure!

The Dove coupons can usually be found at Sobey's.
I thought this week's flyer was terrible overall. Not just for AM's. I don't think I even have enough stuff I want to get to the $35 to get the 15% off. This will be the first time in years that I won't shop there on Tuesday.
