My Safeway Airmiles haven't been updated since October 19th. Safeway usually updated every Friday. I was going to wait until this Friday to see if my Airmiles were credited. Airmiles did have their site shut down last week for a few days, so maybe there is some technical difficulties.

Safeway's 'cut off' is Saturday. Purchases made up to Saturday will post the following Friday. If the miles show on your receipt, they should post.

Purchases made 16 Oct - 22 Oct posted on 28 Oct - Mine did!
Purchases made 23 Oct - 29 Oct will post on 04 Nov
Purchases made 30 Oct - 05 Nov will post on 11 Nov

    etc etc

Now, I am a little worried. I've definitely shopped at Safeway since mid-October. I will wait until Friday, which is the usual day they post my Safeway transactions. Airmiles were definitely credited on my receipt, so I guess I'll have to call.

Interesting. Maybe you have your settings to not receive old fashioned mail from Air Miles? I got similar coupons in regular mail (based on products I've bought in the past).
I get the regular mail out too but the last few times only about 1/4 the offers that used to come.

New to the forum and got a question. We purchase groceries at Safeway quite regularly and take advantage of the Air Miles offers. I used to notice that my acct would be credited with the miles within a week to 10 days of the transaction. My last transaction happened in the middle of Oct and hasn't been credited yet. Has anybody noticed this with there acct? Thanks for your help.
Some of the other forums have commented on the same thing and some of mine are in arrears. Hopefully it's temporary. Only a couple of years ago it was a 6 week wait.

I can now definitively say you can't use the email coupons twice.

    From Krystle at Facebook:

Canada Safeway Hi Robert, we are currently experiencing a system delay that has resulted in customer miles not posting to accounts in the standard amount of time. Our Information and Technology department is looking into correcting the matter. In the mean time, if you are concerened about not receiving your miles, please contact our Customer Service Center at 1-800-723-3929 and they will be happy to open a missing Air Miles inquiry for you. Hope this helps! -Krystle, Customer Service

On a more positive note. I was in Safeway last night and I noticed they were offering Airmiles on gift cards. I think it was 25 for $50. and 50 for $100. I hadn't noticed this in any flyer. Also, I couldn't find an expiry date on the offer.

    marm,

Whatever the picture looks like will probably be it. If it has a PLU Code you might get the cashier to enter it even if it doesn't.

I understand some Stouffer's have free movie passes. Good luck on a great double dip if true.

OK, P.1 is updated and boy are my fingers tired!!!!

Lots of items with small amounts of AMs attached.

There are a few good offers:

    1. Lactantia Milk

Usually this is a higher priced specialty milk costing well over $3.50. It's on special at $2.50/$1.95 which makes it very well priced against other brands.

    2. Suave Hair Care is 1.25/0.81/0.52

If you don't need anything more than basic hair care this is about as good as it gets. The Sunsilk offer is OK as well for a better quality product. Also Herbal Essences with $0.50 coupons is good.

    3. The Conagra event if you have coupons might be OK.
Chef Boyardee 1.25/0.59 is a winner if you buy this product.

    4.
    Hershey's Family Size Bars 1.99/1.26/1.16/0.89 Is $0.89 a good price? I dunno.

    Lots to look at regardless.

    Uh oh!

    From Tammy via Safeway Facebook:
"Hi, went to Safeway in Abbotsford, had my shop totally organized.. Bought LOTS of groceries and should have earned about 250 bonus AIR MILES. Much to my shock none of the store Air Miles showed up at ALL!!! Went I went to customer service they told me to contact Safeway and Air Miles, because it looks like the AIR MILE deals were not turned out this week yet because it is remembrance day???? Now how do I get all the Air Miles, I legitimately earned??"

That, along with the Miles not posting as usual is a little concerning.

I did my shop today in Canmore, AB. and all my Airmiles showed up on the receipt. Still no Safeway Airmiles on my transaction record though. Yup, it's bugging me.
