Had appointment in the city, so I decided to stop around the stores in the area. The best was No Frills.

    2 x Dawn dishwashing detergent sale $1.49 each - $1 WUB 2 coupon
    PC whole chicken sale $1.99 /lb = $7.97
10 lb bag potatoes sale $2.97
2 x 3 lb bag yellow onions sale $0.99 each (it was $1.29 in flyer)
    Broccoli $0.69
    3 x Heinz 1020g can formula reduced to $8.99 each - 3 x $5 coupon = $3.99 each!
And the expiry is 2013!!! Nothing wrong with the cans either
Huggies natural care wipes (216) sale $4.99 - $1 coupon = $3.99 (not advertised in flyer)
    2 x Pampers baby dry boxes sale = $19.97 each - 2 x $2 coupon = $17.97 each
($17.97 is Walmart's regular price for Pampers packs, not box...big savings there!)
3 x Bolthouse Green Goodness drink (husband's), it was supposed to be on sale for $2.99, I checked the expiry date and it was gonna expire the next day, asked manager for discount, thought he would give me 50% off, instead, he gave it for $0.79 each! Woo hoo!

By the way, I bought the Bounty 12 rolls on sale for $6.97 each. Cashier said she cannot accept the coupon as it states save 50 cents on any ONE bounty product. And the picture showed one roll of Bounty paper towel. I was not about to argue with her, she is a pleasant cashier though.
Coupon states on any one bounty PRODUCT. Is 12 rolls not a product?
I think the coupon should say any size bounty product.

I told her to cancel it and then I went to PM at Zellers, no problem at all.
Apparently regular price at Zellers is $13.99, PM for $6.97 - $0.50 coupon = $6.47 for 12 rolls

    Great shopping!

You should have been able to use that Bounty coupon. ONE product = 1 scannable UPC. I would have pointed out that the coupon doesn't state 1-roll, 6-rolls, 12-rolls, etc.

I bought 2 and used the save $1.50 wub 2. Or is is $1.25 wub 2 cant remember and she had noproblem. what a great deal on paper towels.. my rule of thumb with paper towels is not to pay more the about 75 cents a roll.. so paying a bit over 50 cents a roll for bounty is great!

    Nice shopping trip!

Like others have commented, the Bounty coupon was valid on your 12pk. Maybe next time you're at the store you can bring your receipt and the coupon and ask to speak to the manager? I know it's only $0.50 but it's the principle (plus it might help with cashier coupon training!)
