SC Johnson just sent me an email asking me to fill out a survey. They are not the first, many companies have been sending me survey emails. As well, a lot of company websites now have a survey that comes up on their homepage.
Does anyone fill out these surveys considering they don't offer any compensation for your time (eg. a coupon)? Should consumers email the companies letting them know they should offer something if they want feedback? Just a thoughtThis thread is currently associated with: N/A

Nah. The surveys take too long IMO.
If I had a positive compliment, or a negative complaint, it's more effective to use the contact form for a quicker shorter message.Appreciate my help? I'd also appreciate it if you used my referrals

I fill out some, especially from companies who have sent me coupons, or who have coupons up on their sites regularly - like Johnson, Living Well, Shoppers.

The SC Johnson was odd because they have not given me any customer service. I had signed up for the facebook giveaway which is how they got my email I guess.
Other companies have surveys that appear right when you get to their website. That's annoying.
I agree Akitakara, they do take long and often asked questions that don't really get relevant information.
The three you listed Natalka have never asked me, though yes I would fill them out as well. They are generous to me so I would be nice back.
