Anyone know the policy on using an expired Cineplex Admit One certificate in British Columbia? I understand that BC has some kind of law that doesn't allow companies to limit time of use on gift certificates/cards anymore. Does it apply to Cineplex Admit One coupons?

If it's a coupon I highly doubt that since they aren't gc's...Was it paid for?

Is it an admit one rather than a GC balance? I think it would only apply to the gift cards compared to the Admit Ones as they are sold on the basis of a certain price point and would be similar to a membership

if it came ON something like a cereal box for example if it's expired it's expired like any coupon, if it's an actual admit one pass (direct from the company kinda thing) you MIGHT be able to use it say if the cashier doesn't check the expiry (though not something i'm suggesting you do)

if it's a Gift card it should not expire

Thanks for all the input... I'm going to try and use it anyway... I'll let you know if they accept it or not!

I used an expired admit one certificate before. I didn't realized it had expired until the cashier pointed out to me the expiry date. She let me use it anyways becuase it was only passed the expiry date by a month or so. She just told me to be careful about the expiry next time. I think it depends how long it had been expired. If it is only recently expired they probably let you use it.
