I think what I did up there is the reason we shouldn't click on links in our email from folks we don't know. A legitimate seeming link like Amazon.com might actually lead you somewhere else where you'll enter either scamland or virus/trojan/malwareland.

when there's a link from a stranger, i always rest my cursor on it and the actual address shows on the bottom of my screen.. if i don't reckon it or the person, i don't click it... stranger danger!!
