My 11 yr old boy is a Lego freak. It's all he wants for xmas and bdays and all he spends his money on. It is ridiculously cheaper in the States. We went to Hawaii in Sept and bought some there for way cheaper. I wish we lived close to the border.

ohhhh forgot about this thread!!! here are my lego deals i've nabbed for the holidays so far:
Costco: ninjago & star wars brickmaster books $16.99 EACH!!! cover price is $32.99! they also had the Lego city ones too! was just there today (scarborough location) and they still had some left!
Zellers: the 25% off star wars genosian starship & ninjago bone crusher or something like that...they were both on sale for $29.99 each PLUS i had the coupon for 15% off with my hbc mc. both together came in at $57 and change
maybe not the BEST deals in the world but as we Lego hunters know...the stuff ain't cheap
heading to the US in a couple weeks, hoping to really clean up down there!

I saw a book on Chapters today about Lego & the different suggested configurations for your existing sets. Anyone looked at any of these books? Are they any good?
On a side note, went back to the Lego Store today & bought the darth Vader alarm clock, some star wars ship thing with c3po & r2d2. The girl that helped me looked like I was nuts when I asked her for help because I know nothing about the movies....other than they make me fall asleep!!!

So I have just heard about these Lego Star Wars Advent Calendars... are they really worth the $50? I know it has been answered already, just seems so expensive.
