Greetings from the west coast of Canada everyone.

I've finally discovered my 'inner grandmother' who taught me to "look after the nickels and dimes and the quarters will pay for themselves". I'm amazed how oblivious I was to spending money until (thanks to the recession) I switched to part time work. My personal 'OMG' moment was comparing the price of a regular white onion to one that had been chopped. I think the price difference then was the chopped onion wound up costing 10x as much. Blew me away.

Looking forward to finding deals and such.

Hello. I am new to the site - just registered but have been looking at it for a few weeks now. Appreciate the SC site. In this day and age any opportunity to save money, get items for free, or enter contests is a good way to stretch a dollar and amuse yourself for a few hours a day. Only problem I'm finding is it is addicting. Thanks again. Look forward to finding some "deals" to post for other like minded folks.
