Yesterday i went to walmart and I saw a nice mat (the ones that have roads, a scenery) for kids to play with cars on. So the price was $5!!! I said I havde to get this for my son, so at the cashier it rang up as 10 so i told her thats the wrong price, She said at this point you have to go to customer service at that point I was mad as walmart cs has always a big line up. Anyways I waited and it took no lie 20 mins for someone to get the price (5). So in the end I got it for free (woo hoo)

i noticed that a lot of cashiers don't seem to know what to do with the SCOP when you tell them about it before you pay...some just void it out of the transaction, and some just do it as a return...what is the right answer?

I don't think they shoud just void it out, because that would mess up their inventory. I have seen them scan the item, then press a button, then enter the right price, then enter 0.00 to give it free...I am not really sure of the whole process. This seems to happen a lot at my Wal Mart. Recently I got a box of Honey Combs and a bottle of bleach for free!!!!

Great SCOP. Sucks that you had to stand in line so long to get it. The cashiers should know what buttons to push to give SCOP. Perhaps everyone should just put the right prices on things and then none of us would have to worry about SCOP!
