I shaved a TON of my savings today- at Zellers.

soo I know you've all been waiting on baited breath to find out how my shopping trip went this morning with my 'dilemma' on my coupons.. well..
when we first arrived.. I took dh with me into the aisle, explained what I wanted to do.. then he had a HUGELY great idea I hadn't though of yet.. I was like DOH! now i know why i luv u!!
O and the best part of the whole thing.. dh 'managed' the whole deal. im so proud of him

our cashier was awesome.. she even said 'wow did you ever do your homework'.. the ppl in line behind us were like WOW. nicely done.. the lady behind me was actually for us.
bad news was like when i opened my closet door to put it away.. crap.. hm maybe under the bed. LMAO.
*in addition to the razors. i even had $1 off of any Noxema.. so i used them on the sample sizes. perfect for stockings.. im very proud of myself. and so is dh..

ya sorry after posting.. i realized i didn't post the prices..
so i'll start with the Venus razors.
advertised for 1/2 off (reg. 11.99) on for $5.99- save $5WUB2 products i included the mini (sample size) SC shaving cream ($1.74) soo.
reg. 11.99 -50%= $5.99 + $1.74 = $7.74 - save $5WUB2 coupon = $2.24 for both the razor and the gel
did that 3 x
$6.72 for all 6 products. appr. $1 each.
then I pm from the same flyer the Gillette fusion proglides
reg. $11.99-50%- $5.99- $2.00 (i didnt have any of the $4 off).. $3.99 (not great not bad) did that 3x.
$36 worth of products for $12.. so 1/3 savings..
THEN I did their own sale.
the Schick Hydro 5..
reg. $10.99- on sale for $4.79- $2 coupon = $2.79 each.. x3..
then as I said. I added the Noxema sample size $2.49 - 3 $1 off coupons..
that was my biggest coupon savings haul so far.
i even said to the cashier. wow $85.. thats not bad.. she was like no silly thats the original price. I saved $30 off of that. WOW.it says on the bottom my total purchase savings was .... $78.90!~~
